Intimate Montecito Coastal Wedding
Maggie and Steve’s Montecito wedding was all about bringing people together. After getting married in the UK, they wanted to continue the celebration in California with the people closest to them. Set at a private estate in Montecito, the day was relaxed, heartfelt, and filled with sunshine, laughter, and so much love.
Maggie grew up in Newport Beach and always imagined sharing this milestone with her California community. Steve, originally from the UK, was just as excited to be part of something that honored both of their worlds. Their Montecito celebration wasn’t a redo, it was a continuation of their story and a chance to slow down and be with the people who mattered most.
The estate, generously offered by a family friend, sat quietly between the coast and the mountains. With its open layout, lush landscaping, and peaceful setting, it created the perfect atmosphere for a laid-back and meaningful celebration. It didn’t feel like a venue—it felt like home.
The entire day ran smoothly thanks to Dina from On the Bride’s Side. She handled everything with calm and care, which allowed Maggie and Steve to truly be present and soak in every part of the celebration.
Even though their legal ceremony had already happened in the UK, Maggie and Steve wanted this day to feel just as meaningful. A live guitarist welcomed guests as they arrived, and the afternoon ceremony was full of heartfelt words and genuine emotion. Loved ones shared stories, toasts bridged both families and cultures, and every detail reflected who they are as a couple.
Their wedding was a reminder that there’s no right way to do things. Love doesn’t follow a script, and your celebration doesn’t have to either. What made their day so special was how personal and relaxed it felt from beginning to end.
